What is bleed?

Bleed is extra artwork that extends beyond the final trim edge.

Bleed explained

Bleed is the extra background or design area that extends past the final trim edge. It helps prevent unwanted white edges after trimming.

If your design has colour, photos, or graphics going to the edge, include bleed around the artwork. Keep important text and logos inside the safe margin, not in the bleed area.

Exact bleed requirements can vary by product, so check the product instructions or ask support if you are unsure.
