Safe margin basics
The safe margin is the inside area where important text, logos, borders, and critical artwork should stay. Cutting and finishing can shift slightly, so content placed too close to the edge may be trimmed or look uneven.
Keep important elements comfortably inside the trim line. Background colours and images can extend through the bleed area when edge-to-edge printing is needed.
